So what does it mean for those sections who passed the amendment?
If and when those sections passing the amendment choose the make amendments to their deed restrictions, they will do so by getting a majority vote of all votes cast.  All members of Cape Royale POA (all property owners from all sections) will participate in the vote, with voting taking place at an annual or specially called meeting with a quorum present.  Absentee ballots will be used so those who cannot attend meeting can participate.

What does it mean for those sections who did not pass the amendment?
If and when those sections choose to make amendments to their deed restrictions they will follow the process that is currently in their deed restrictions.  For all it requires a majority vote of all property owners in that section, whether they vote or not.  Some sections require higher than a majority (66 2/3).  

This office will be preparing the documents needed to be recorded with the county and getting the updates posted for those sections passing the amendment under Chapter 211.  I will have that done within the next 3-4 weeks.
